I’m staying in Hanoi for a week and considering a day trip tour to Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park. Has anyone done this and was it worth the long travel time? I realize it’s quite far from Hanoi so I’m wondering if a day trip gives you enough time to actually experience the park or if you spend most of the day traveling. My alternative would be to do a proper 2-3 day trip to Phong Nha later in my Vietnam travels, but if the day tour actually covers the highlights well it might save me time. What do these day tours typically include and do you feel rushed through the activities? I’m particularly interested in seeing Paradise Cave and maybe one other major attraction. Any honest feedback about whether day trips from Hanoi are worth it or if I should plan a longer dedicated visit would be really helpful.

I mean technically you can but it will be a torture.
just take at least 2 days marked only for Phong Nha. enjoy it with rented motorbike and thank me later
