Hi everyonee!!
will be taking the train from Hue to dong hoi and arrive at about 11:30 pm. Planning to visit in December this year (2025).
I’ll have one day to do a cave tour the next morning and can’t decide between Phong Nha + Dark Cave or Paradise + Dark Cave.
Which is better: Phong Nha or Paradise?
Also is it smarter to book a tour on TripAdvisor/viator in advance, or just take a taxi to the park and book on arrival? I’m short on time and want to see the best cave. Any tips or personal experiences would be really helpful. mucacha gracias

why not do all three caves? its totally possible to do three of them if you start early enough (in this order phong nha cave > paradise cave > dark cave).
in dark cave you would get all muddy and wet thats why put it in the end. also would spend the most time there
but if you really want my opinion if I had to choose just one cave then I would choose paradise cave over phong nha cave. its more gorgeous (subjective!)

I would see if possible to do all in one day. will it be too tiring is what I am wondering since I will be traveling with my children in phong nha

If I had to choose, I would choose Phong nha cave @pikapika
reason being you don’t have to walk too much for seeing similar cave structure and you get to ride in a boat to reach the cave
