This will be my first visit to Phong Nha Cave and I want to make sure I’m properly prepared for the experience. What should I expect in terms of temperature, humidity, and lighting inside the cave? I’m planning to bring my camera but wondering about flash photography rules and whether tripods are allowed. Are there specific sections that are more impressive than others or is the whole experience fairly consistent? I’ve heard the boat ride is part of the tour - how long does that portion last and do I need to worry about getting wet? My fitness level is decent but not exceptional, so wondering if there are any challenging sections I should be prepared for. Any advice about timing, what to bring, and how to make the most of the visit would be really appreciated from experienced cave visitors.
