I guess u r thinkin about kayaking near dark cave which is included in the tour.
this is the best itinerary for phong nha I have come across. take out 20 minutes and read through it.
I gotchu mate. here ya go :
- Kayak inside Phong Nha Cave at golden hour and listen to the echoes
- Zipline over the chay river
- Wander the Paradise Cave boardwalk and stare at the formations in silence (avoding crowd in early morning hehe)
- Trek to the abandoned valley (and sleep under the stars. well maybe can’t sleep there am not sure lol)
- Learn to cook a morning noodle with a local family in phong nha
- Cycle slow through rice paddies and stop for roadside coffee
- Watch bats pour out at sunset from a small boat. I saw this in Halong bay but not sure if can do in phong nha but its my bucket list anyways
- Crash on a bamboo raft for a silly unforgettable night

for me the best thing in phong nha was just riding around my motorbike around the whole national park and stopping wherever I wanted!
can’t beat that…
