I keep seeing references to both a Duck Farm and Duck Stop in Phong Nha and I’m confused about whether these are the same place or two different attractions. Can someone clarify what each one offers and whether it’s worth visiting both or just picking one? I love quirky local attractions but also don’t want to waste time on repetitive experiences. My girlfriend is really into animal encounters so if there’s a chance to actually interact with ducks rather than just observe that would be perfect. Are there any feeding opportunities or is it more of a photo spot? Also wondering about the best time to visit for the most active duck behavior and fewer crowds. The whole duck theme seems uniquely Phong Nha so want to make sure I understand what makes these places special before deciding which one to include in my itinerary.
duck stop, duck farm, duck leader are all the same thing in phong nha.
yep, thats exactly you do when you play the duck leader game where the ducks literally follow you haha
yep, they give you small bread pieces or seeds to feed them. they also give you rubber shoes to save your feet from all the duck ![]()
best time would be early morning or late evening because its an open area and if you are coming to phong nha in summer it gets pretty hot. I got pretty bad sun burn there ![]()
definitely include it in your phong nha itinerary because it only takes like an hour or two max
nope. duck farm and duck stop are the same thing.
most people call it The duck stop in Phong Nha.
i would also recommend you to visit the duck stop and do the duck leader game, worth it!
skip the buffalo ride because its not much fun except you get to sit on donald trump (they named the male buffalo lol) for 5 minutes across the field.
a cold beer is included in the meal, go have some fun
its all the same thing.
go to duck stop without watching any video or insta reel. trust me!
going without expectations you would enjoy it a lot
